Two mornings at Balnuaran of Clava

I spent a couple of mornings with Richard Bradley and Ronnie Scott wandering around the remarkable stone monuments at Balnuaran of Clava, near Inverness, Scotland.

We had all been involved with excavations here in the 1990s, and Historic Environment Scotland have featured some of my photographs from this fieldwork on information panels. It is a privilege to be a part of the history of this place, but it was rather disconcerting when a visitor recognised Richard from my portrait of him which is featured upon a nearby panel.
